Kathmandu, April 25
The Korea International Cooperation Agency says the Korean government is supporting the construction of a 50-bedded hospital and 10 health posts in Nuwakot district of central Nepal as a part of its post-earthquake recovery support.
State Minister for Health Padma Kumari Aryal and Korean Ambassador to Nepal Park Young-sik marked the beginning of the construction of Trishuli Hospital building in Bidur of Nuwakot on Tuesday.
Also yesterday, one among 10 health posts was inaugurated in Belkot of the district yesterday.
A memorandum of understanding for the project ‘Post-Disaster health Service Recovery Program in Nuwakot District’ was signed on September 14, 2016 between the Government of Republic of Korea and Government of Nepal.
