Makawanpur, November 10
Two people died on the spot in a collision between a truck and a bus at Nawalpur, Hetaunda of the Makawanpur district.
The truck (Province 2-03-01 Kha 5035) hit the night bus (Na 7 Kha 876) last night, killing two.
The bus was en route to Kathmandu from Janakpur while the truck was coming from the opposite direction when they collided.
The names and addresses of the deceased are not yet ascertained and police are carrying out an investigation, Jayashwor Rimal, the spokesperson at the District Police Office, says.
He says 15 bus passengers and the truck driver who were injured in the accident are receiving treatment at the Chure Hill Hospital and Cooperative Hospital in Hetaunda.
