
Kathmandu, March 28
The National Assembly is set to deliberate on five ordinance replacement bills in its session today.
The meeting, scheduled for 1:15 PM, will see Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli present a proposal to pass a bill aimed at amending laws related to good governance and public service delivery.
Additionally, Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives, and Poverty Alleviation Balram Adhikari will propose the passage of the Cooperatives Act (Amendment) Bill, 2081.
Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel will present three other crucial bills for discussion and approval:
- Financial Procedures and Fiscal Responsibility (First Amendment) Bill
- Privatisation (First Amendment) Bill
- Economic and Business Environment Improvement and Investment Promotion Bill
A clause-by-clause discussion will be held before the bills are passed. The proposed amendments are expected to introduce structural reforms in the country’s governance, financial policies, and business environment.
