Kathmandu, December 9

It has been two weeks since the government of Nepal decided to conduct one flight between New Delhi and Kathmandu by an airline company of Nepal and India each every day under India’s air bubble scheme.

However, the decision has not been implemented yet as India has not issued a permit to conduct the flights, informs Nepal Airlines, the Nepali company assigned to conduct flights. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, however, has already completed required procedures on its part.

Regular air service between the capitals of two neighbours has been halted since March due to the Covid-19 crisis.

The national flag carrier’s general manager Dim Prakash Paudel says the flights will start as soon as India gives permission.
