Nepal Covid-19 tally: 77 new cases, 106 recoveries in 24 hours

Kathmandu, March 21

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 275,906 as of Sunday afternoon.

The ministry says 77 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 3,181 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 236,526 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 969 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 271,921 people have achieved recovery whereas 3,016 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 106 people have been discharged whereas zero deaths have been reported. 

Over 40 people are quarantined across the country.
