Kathmandu, June 14
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 5,760 as of Sunday afternoon.
In his daily press briefing, the ministry’s spokesperson Jageshwar Gautam said the country recorded 425 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
So far, nearly 974 people have achieved recovery whereas 19 have died. In the past 24 hours, the country reported one Covid-19 death, according to Gautam. The deceased, a native of Gulmi, had recently returned from India.
The disease has spread across 73 districts of the country.
