Kathmandu, June 24
The board of directors of the National Reconstruction Authority is holding its first meeting at Baluwatar on Friday. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will chair the meeting.
The meeting comes at a time when the main opposition Nepali Congress has said it will not let the House resume its meetings unless it responds satisfactorily to its five-point charter of demands.
After last year’s quakes, then government had announced that it will provide two lakh rupees each to quake-affected families to help them rebuild their lives. But the government has not been able to distribute aid to the victims even 14 months after the quakes.
