Nepal PM Prachanda stresses need to strive for stability, progress, prosperity

PM-Nepal

Kathmandu, August 21

Prime Minister and CPN-Maoist Centre Chair, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, said on Sunday it’s time to strive for good governance, progress and prosperity. Any new struggle should be for achieving these ends, Prachanda said, adding that political transformation cannot last long without good governance, progress and prosperity.

He said this during a meeting with representatives of Western Development Forum. Prachanda pointed: After a lot of sacrifices and struggles, political transformation took place and we got a new Constitution. Our struggle now should be for good governance, stability, progress and prosperity. Political transformation cannot last long without good governance, progress and prosperity.

The Maoist leader stressed the need to connect Madhesh, Hills and Himalayas to strengthen national unity.

“My priority is on maintaining balanced relations with neighbours — China and India. My priority is on steering the country towards progress, prosperity and reconstruction.”

On the occasion, the delegation under Chandra Dhakal said they will do every bit to make the government formed during difficult times successful.
