Kathmandu, October 29
The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has announced that tickets for the SAFF Women’s Championship final between Nepal and Bangladesh will not be available for online purchase. Instead, tickets will only be sold in person, starting from 8 am on Wednesday at Jawalakhel.
According to ANFA Tournament Director Sanjiv Mishra, only 11,000 tickets will be sold, with 10,000 allocated for general seating and 1,000 for VIP seating. The Dasharath Stadium, where the match will be held, has a seating capacity of 15,000.
ANFA has also set a purchase limit, allowing each spectator to buy a maximum of five tickets for general seating and two tickets for VIP seating. Fans are urged to enter the stadium by 5 PM on game day.
This decision follows ANFA’s takeover of ticket sales after reports of overbooking for Sunday’s semi-final match between Nepal and India. Previously, Mount Everest Sports and Events Pvt. Ltd. was responsible for ticket distribution.
