Kathmandu, October 18
Police in Kathmandu on Friday arrested notorious gangster Suka Bahadur Lama alias Baghe for his alleged involvement in a fraud case.
The Metropolitan Crime Division says he sold sand in insufficient quantities while claiming certain quantifies, thereby cheating the public. Besides, he is suspected to be involved in other criminal cases also, states the division that made the arrest this morning.
An official at the division says some other sand depot owners were also arrested. Police are preparing to file a fraud case against them.
