Kathmandu, December 20
Police in Kathmandu say they have arrested 11 persons in the past few days, whom they claim to be members of a ‘professional motorcycle theft gang’.
In the past weeks, police received nine reports of motorcycle theft from Chandragiri, Nagarjun and Kirtipur municipalities of the capital. While searching them, police busted them. Police also recovered the stolen bikes from them.
The suspects have been identified as Madan Tamang, Som Sunar, Sandeep Gurung, Santosh Gole, Bharat Thapa, Rinjen Moktan, Indra Bahadur Tamang, Ganesh Lama, Bikram Bhujel and Raju Paudel. Police say further investigation is underway and they will face a theft case at court.
