Kathmandu, December 15
CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and CPN-Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Friday held a meeting to discuss next steps for the unification between two parties and formation of new government under the leadership of leftist alliance.
The top leaders also discussed other dimensions of the post-elections political circumstances including the debate over whether a new government can be formed before the elections of National Assembly, and an ordinance for the elections, a source privy to the discussion informs.
This is the first time the two leaders met for a discussion after their electoral alliance secured a landslide victory in the House of Representatives polls held in November last week and December first week.
