Kathmandu, May 4
Nepali Congress, the principal opposition in Parliament, and the agitating Madheshi Morcha have agreed to bring down the Oli government at the earliest.
Nepali Congress leader Chinkaji Shrestha told Onlinekhabar that during a meeting of the two parties in Kathmandu on Wednesday, the government was heavily criticised for failing on all fronts.
He said that although both sides agreed that the Oli governments needs to go, they haven’t decided who should replace Oli. According to Shrestha, party President Sher Bahadur Deuba and Treasurer Sitadevi Yadav were also present during the meeting.
Morcha’s Mahanta Thakur, Upendra Yadav, and Rajendra Mahato represented the UDMF.
