Kathmandu, January 13
Pushpa Kamal Dahal, a chairman of the Dahal-Nepal faction of the recently split Nepal Communist Party, has claimed people have understood that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, the chairman of the other faction, dissolved the House of Representatives at India’s behest.
Addressing his cadres in Kathmandu on Wednesday, the rival leader said, “All the people have seen and understood that you split the party and dissolved the Parliament because India told you that.”
He said Oli’s meeting with Samant Goel, the chief Indian foreign intelligence agency, Research and Analysis Wing, had led to the House dissolution. “They held a secret conversation in Baluwatar for three hours,” he said.
“Nepali people have seen with their own eyes that the prime minister followed an intransparent way (in dealing with India.”
