Police prevent 31 buses carrying Federal Alliance cadres from entering Kathmandu

Sanghiya-Gathbandhan
Kathmandu, May 15
Police have stopped 31 buses carrying Federal Alliance activists at Thankot of Kathmandu and Naubise of Dhading, FA said on Sunday.
Apparently, the cadres were coming to Kathmandu for participating in the FA’s Kathmandu-centric movement meant to make the state address its demands. Police have seized 18 buses at Thankot and 13 at Naubise, the FA said.
Federal Socialist Forum Nepal, a partner in the alliance, said police have created obstructions in several places in Kathmandu to prevent its cadres from taking part in the Singhadurbar-centric protest.
Protesters have been encircling Singhadurbar, the government secretariat, from early Sunday morning. This has affected traffic movement in the Kathmandu Valley.
