Prime Minister Oli in Bhuj to observe post-quake reconstruction

Prime Minister KP Oli is in Gujarat to take a look at post-quake reconstruction work in Bhuj of Gujarat and bring some wisdom to Nepal as it tries to recover from the debilitating effects of April 25 and May 12 earthquakes that killed around 9,000 people and caused losses worth trillions of rupees.

Upon arrival at the airport on Tuesday afternoon, the state’s Chief Minister Anandi Ben Patel received PM Oli as artistes performed traditional dances. He received information about the reconstruction work in Bhuj from the state’s governor and Chief Minister Patel and other officials, including the state governor.

PM Oli’s next stop is Mumbai, where he will meet industrialists and Bollywood artists. He is returning home on Wednesday after completing his official visit to the southern neighbour. Heading a 46-member entourage, Oli had left for India on February 19.
