Design and display

The Realme Narzo N53 has a beautiful design on the back. It has two colour options, feather black and feather gold. The gold variant showcases a sleek, striped textured pattern, while the black variant features a grainy textured design, giving it a distinctive appearance. The back of the device resembles the camera setup of the iPhone 14 Pro, with a layout of three cameras. The camera module is enclosed in a glossy box, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of it’s design.

On the front, it has a water drop-notch placement for the selfie camera, which also works as the base for the mini-capsule display same as the dynamic island display on the iPhone 14 Pro series.

Performance and storage

The Realme Narzo N53 is powered by the Unisoc Tiger T612 chipset, built on the 12nm architecture. Its octa-core CPU consists of two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores also clocked at 1.8 GHz. It has the Mali-G57 GPU to handle the graphics. It runs in the Realme UI T operating system based on Android 13.

Additionally, users have the flexibility to expand the storage further using a MicroSD card, thanks to the dedicated slot available in the SIM tray.

Camera

The Narzo N53 camera is very similar to iPhone 14 Pro series. With three camera rings, it is a dual-setup camera and the third ring has a flash in it. A pretty clever idea indeed. The main camera is a 50MP AI camera whereas the secondary camera is unspecified. It might be a 2MP macro camera or a 2MP depth sensor.

It includes various features such as 50MP mode, night mode, panoramic view, expert, timelapse, portrait mode, HDR, AI scene recognition, filter, and slow motion. For video, it supports recording at 1080p at 30fps, 720P at 30fps and 480 at 30 fps.
