Butwal, November 2
A woman died after being hit by a tipper in Shankarnagar, Tilottama municipality of the Rupandehi district in Lumbini on Tuesday.
The victim is 78-year-old Prem Kumari Acharya, a resident of Tilottama-3. She was using a zebra crossing when the tipper (Lu 2 Kha 2216) hit her.
The Lumbini Provincial Traffic Police Office says the tipper ran away after the accident.
Police are searching for the tipper and its driver for further investigation.
