Kathmandu, February 17
Nepal’s national U-23 football team is returning home on Wednesday, two days after defeating the Indian side 2-1 in the finals of the SAG football.
The players will take part in a victory rally that will take them to different parts of the city, where fans are expected to join in with the celebrations.
The team is scheduled to land at TIA at 15.30. The rally will pass through Gaushala, Rato Pul, Gyaneswhor, Kamal Pokhari, Putalisadak, Bhadrakali, Sundhara, New Road Gate, Bir Hospital, Jamal, Keshar Mahal, Purano Bus Part and Sahid Gate. It will end amid a programme at the Dasarath Stadium.
