Two people died when two motorbikes hit a stationary tipper in Khadak municipality-11 of the Saptari district in southeastern Nepal on Sunday.
Baijanath Chaudhary aka Baiju (20), a resident of Banauli, Khadak-11, and Rama Kanta Chaudhary (22), a resident of Dakneshwari municipality-10 in the district died on the spot when their motorbikes (Ba 89 Pa 3215 and Province 1 – 02 – 044 Pa 8691) hit the tipper (Sa 1 Kha 928) along the postal highway yesterday.
Pillion riders on both two-wheelers have sustained critical injuries.
Police have arrested the tipper driver for further investigation.
