Chitwan, April 15
Narayangadh-Muglin road in Chitwan district, which is being expanded for last few years, will be barred from vehicles for six hours every day, again from Sunday.
Earlier, the restriction was lifted for Saturday as Nepalis marked the New Year.
The project says 12 per cent work is yet to be done for the expansion and stopping vehicles from the road is a must to ensure smooth construction works. The project aims to complete the works by May 30.
Therefore, vehicles will be stopped at Jugedi on Narayangadh side and at Muglin on Muglin side from 10 am to 4 pm.
The vital road connects Kathmandu Valley with the East-West Highway, and two popular tourist destinations: Pokhara and Chitwan.
