Kathmandu, June 22

The Supreme Court has issued an interim order telling Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to relieve 20 ministers* appointed after the dissolution of the House of Representatives of their positions.

Following the order, Oli only has five members in the cabinet including himself.

A division bench of Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Rana and Justice Prakash Kumar Dhungana issued the order in response to several writ petitions filed against the expansions made on June 4 and June 10.
