Kathmandu, June 9
Tata Motors has set up over 100 charging stations across the country to promote the use of electric vehicles in the country.
Sipradi Trading, the official dealer of Tata Motors for Nepal, says charging stations have been set up in 108 places across the country so far.
According to the company, DC fast-charging stations have been set up in 16 places and AC charging stations in 92 places. The company says it aims to connect AC charging stations in more than 100 locations by July.
The company has stated that DC fast-charging stations have been set up in Kathmandu, Chumlingtar, Hetauda, Mulkot, Narayanghat and Dharke in Bagmati Province. Similarly, charging stations have also been set up in Dhalkebar in Madhesh, Itahari in Province 1, Bhairahawa, Bhalubang and Nepalgunj in Lumbini, Pokhara in Gandaki and Dhangadhi in Sudurpaschim.
Sipradi also says it set up DC fast-charging stations in Lahan and Simara in Madhesh and Birtamod in Province 1 soon.
