Kathmandu, February 1
Two people died and three were critically injured in Satpatiya of Bardiya’s Badiyatal rural municipality after being run over by a tipper on Monday evening.
The deceased and the injured were sitting by the fire when a tipper (Bhe Ka 1495) lost control and ran over them.
Out of the deceased, Som Bahadur BK died on the spot while Ramu Tharu breathed his last at Nepalgunj Nursing Home during treatment, informed the area police office.
Similarly, Pramila Chaudhary, Chameliya Tharu and Laxman Sunar were injured in the accident and are being treated in Nepalgunj.
The tipper driver has been arrested, informed the police.
