Kathmandu, February 28
Protesting the government decision to phase out public vehicles that are 20 years old, transport entrepreneurs encircled the Department of Transport Management in Kathmandu on Tuesday. They were demanding that the government withdraw the decision. During the protest, owners of those vehicles also shouted slogans against the government. The department has said it will not let public vehicles, that are 20 years old, ply from tomorrow.
