Siraha, November 26
Two security personnel have reportedly sustained critical injuries when an unidentified group opened fire on them, in Niradana of Siraha district on Sunday.
Police constable Mageram Yadav and temporary police staffer Adarsha Yadav have sustained injuries, says the District Police Office.
The injured have been rushed to Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for treatment.
Investigators are clueless about attackers and their motives.
It has been said that the shooters were on a motorbike and they have opened fire when they were stopped for a security check.
Recently, two blasts had occurred in the district. Though no group claimed the responsibility, police had found leaflets of Jaya Krishna Goit-led outfit at the incident sites.
