Kathmandu, March 19
US Navy chief Admiral Harry Binkley Harris Jr is to arrive in Kathmandu on a three-day visit later in the day.
During his stay in Nepal, Harris is to meet Prime Minister Prachanda, Defence Minister Balkrishna Khand, Foreign Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat and CoAS Rajendra Chhetru.
Harris, who is also the chief of the US Pacific Command, will observe the inaugural session of a Nepali Army peace-keeping drill in Panchkhal, being attended by units from 27 countries.
This is his first visit to Nepal since taking office in 2015.
