Biratnagar, September 28
An unidentified person broke the window of a vehicle parked at Budhat, Biratnagar, on Wednesday and fled with Rs 2.5 million kept inside the vehicle, police informed.
Police said the person broke the window of the vehicle (number plate Ko 1 Ta 8019) belonging to Mount Makalu Development Bank in Terhathum district and fled with the bag containing the money while bank employee Suman Limbu and driver Bir Bahadur Mabuhang had left the vehicle to drink water.
Police said they are investigating the matter, adding that the place is always under CCTV surveillance.
