Kathmandu, February 11
A woman and her two children were found dead in Imadol of Lalitpur.
SSP Shekhar Khanal told Onlinekhabar that Raveena Maharjan died after jumping from the third floor of her house.
“After watching her jump off the building, locals rushed her to KIST Hospital where she died during treatment,” said Khanal.
Shortly thereafter, Maharjan’s children were discovered unconscious in the room.
Maharjan’s daughter, two-year-old Riva Maharjan, and six-year-old son Ashwet Maharjan were rescued and taken to KIST Hospital where they died during treatment.
“We don’t know how the kids died. We’ve sent the body for post-mortem,” said Khanal.
Investigations into the deaths have started.
