Kathmandu, January 15
A total of eight people were injured due to overcrowding in Tundikhel, Kathmandu.
On the occasion of Maghe Sankranti, people who went to participate in separate programs organised by the Magar and Tharu communities got injured.
According to the spokesperson of District Police Kathmandu, SP Kumud Dhungel, eight people who were injured in the crowd have been taken to the National Trauma Center for treatment. Their condition is normal.
The police said that they were trapped in the crowd at the gate of Tundikhel during the process of entering and exiting the venue.
