The government has fired three members of Nepal Electricity Authority’s Board of Directors on the charge of obstructing the campaign against load-shedding.
The Ministry of Energy has removed Laxman Agrawal, Manoj Mishra and Suraj Lamichhane.
The three had opposed NEA managing director Kul Man Singh Ghising’s campaign against load-shedding. The ministry had sought clarifications from the three.
It removed Agrawal, Mishra and Lamichhane after finding their explanations unsatisfactory.
