Bhaktapur, July 25
The Rastriya Janata Party Nepal leader Mahantha Thakur has said that his party will not participate in the third phase of local level elections in Province 2 unless the constitution is amended as per its demand.
In a programme organised by Rafat Sanchar Club here in the district today, leader Thakur reiterated that the amendment was a must to convince the agitating party to take part in the polls.
He further hoped that there might be two-third majority for the constitution amendment bill as ruling parties were exercising for that.
Leader Thakur urged the government to materialise various agreements forged with them in the past.
