The association of liquefied petroleum gas bottlers on Wednesday formed a five-member team to investigate into a fire incident occurred at Super Gas Udyog in Birgunj of Parsa district.
Two persons were killed in the incident.
Following the blaze, the Nepal LPG Industry Association formed the committee comprising Shiva Prasad Ghimire, Kush Malli, Shankar Shrestha, Krishna Bhakta Shrestha and Laxmi Maharjan.
The committee has been mandated to complete the probe and submit the report within next five days.
It has been suspected that a gas bullet induced the fire.
The incident has been regarded as the biggest incident of fire in Nepal’s LPG industry in past 48 years.
