Design and display
OnePlus 11 5G has received mixed opinions from people about the design. The design is slightly changed and is based on the last year’s flagship, OnePlus 10 Pro. It has a seamless curvy design with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection in the front and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 at the back for protection. The glass gives a clean finish to the phone and makes it look glossy. It is protected from water and dust using an IP64 rating.
OnePlus 11 5G has a 6.7-inch 120Hz QHD+ Super Fluid AMOLED with LTPO display. The resolution is 3216*1440 pixels with 525 PPI and a 20.1:9 aspect ratio. The refresh rate on it is also quite good with a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate. It has also brought back its iconic alert slider including the option to make the mode silent or ring.
Performance and memory
OnePlus 11 5G has been powered with the all-new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is now being used by most of the flagship Android smartphones due to its processing and the wide range of areas it covers. It is based on OxygenOS 13.0, Android 13 along with Adreno 740 as its GPU. OnePlus gives quality specs under a tight budget like these, thus called the flagship killer.
The RAM variation offered is between 8GB and 16GB LPDDR5X with 128GB and 256GB storage respectively. The vibration in the phone comes through a haptic motor.
Camera
OnePlus 11 5G camera setup includes a triple camera setup on the back and a single front camera. The main rear camera includes a Sony IMX890 50MP, F1.8 camera with optical image stabilisation and electronic image stabilisation. The remaining camera on the back includes a 48MP, F2.2 ultra-wide camera and 32MP, F2.0 portrait tele camera with 2X optical zoom.
The rear camera has features such as photo mode, video mode, portrait mode, night mode, pro mode, panorama, movie mode, slow motion, time-lapse, long exposure, dual-view video, tilt-shift mode, Xpan mode, auto macro, AI scene enhancement, master style filters, retouch, AI highlight video, ultra steady pro, raw plus file, Google lens, 10bit colour, high-efficiency image, etc.
OnePlus 11 5G can record 8K video at 24fps, 4K video at 30/60fps, 1080P video at 30/60fps and 720fps video at 30/60fps. The rear camera can also record super slow motion and time-lapse video with an in-built video editor to edit your videos.
The front camera has a 16MP, F2.45 sensor with electronic image stabilisation. It can record 1080P video at 30fps and 720P video at 30fps. The front camera has features such as face unlock, selfie HDR, screen flash, nightscape selfie and face retouching.
Battery and others
OnePlus 11 5G has a 5,000-mAh dual-cell (2,500-mAh each) non-removable battery. The massive battery can be charged using the 100W SUPERVOOC brick by OPPO. The sensors in it include an in-display fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, m-sensor electronic compass, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, sensor core and flick-detect sensor. It has a USB 2.0 type-C port for charging and you can also use type-C earphones. OnePlus 11 5G comes in two colour variants eternal green and Titan black.
The prices of OnePlus 11 5G are Rs 129,999 and 134,999 for 8/128GB and 16/256GB respectively.
Verdict
With the reviews and OnePlus bringing up their flagship killer motto back, OnePlus 11 5G might bring the brand value back. But, to reduce the cost, OnePlus has given IP64 water resistance instead of IP68 and removed wireless charging. This might not be that much of a problem as people might compromise it. Other than these cost-reducing factors, OnePlus shall make a comeback with the new model.
