Kathmandu, July 9
The government has prepared to blacklist around two dozen construction companies.
The Public Procurement Monitoring Office has started the process of blacklisting the companies that have not completed construction projects on time.
The government is blacklisting the companies after they did not give a valid explanation as requested by the government. The government had given the companies 30 days to provide valid reasons.
The monitoring office has issued another notice and provided a seven-day ultimatum for the companies to submit a written explanation.
Failure to provide an explanation within this period will result in the companies being blacklisted by the monitoring office.
