Kathmandu, February 23
Police have arrested a person on the charge of character assassination of a woman through social media. Kiran Thapa, 27 of Shivapuri Rural Municipality-4 in Nuwakot was arrested following a complaint filed against him by the woman.
The accused reportedly sent their intimate photos and videos taken during their relationship to her family members. After she broke up with him, he them to her family members through Facebook Messenger.
The Cyber Bureau team of Nepal police arrested him from Gongabu, Kathmandu.
