Nepali Congress President and outgoing Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of his party’s Central Executive Committee for Friday.
The meeting will discuss selection of lawmakers for House of Representatives and provincial assemblies under the proportional representation system. Other contemporary political issues will also be discussed during the meeting.
It is the first time the party which faced a historic defeat in recent parliamentary polls is discussing national politics after the polls.
The party’s Central Office Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel says the meeting will convene after 8 am tomorrow at the PM’s residence in Baluwatar.
