Janakpurdham, January 4
Police in the Dhanusha district of southeastern Nepal claim a man has been killed by his son and son-in-law there recently.
Dhanuk Das, a resident of Mukhiyapatti Musaharniya rural municipality-2 of the district, was shot dead at his home on December 24, 2022. Investigating the case, police have arrested his son Pradeep Das, son-in-law Udaya Das and shooter Ranjit Yadav.
One more person has been identified to have been involved in the case, but Sonu Mishra aka Akash, from Khajuli of Bihar in India, is on the run.
Udaya Das works as a driver for the Madhesh Provincial Police Office in Janakpurdham, Dhanusha.
