CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has urged leaders and cadres of his party not to believe in rumours that the party is not going to unify with the CPN-Maoist Centre.
Oli says the merger between two parties is certain.
Speaking at a function in Kathmandu today, the Prime Minister, who is travelling to India this Friday on a state visit, said, “There might be rumours that whether it will be before or after my visit. It can be either before or after. It will happen at an appropriate time.”
On the occasion, Oli conferred the Madan Bhandari National Journalism Award on senior journalist Kamal Koirala.
