Kathmandu, February 18
Gyanendra Shahi, who is viral on social media for his so-called anti-corruption campaign across the country, has joined the royalist Rastriya Prajatatra Party (RPP).
Shahi, the leader of the Hamro Nepal Hami Nepali Abhiyan national campaign, joined the party today along with his key followers. RPP chairperson Rajendra Lingden welcomed them amid a function in the capital on Friday.
Even before joining the party, Shahi was seen in a rally organised by the party against the MCC deal in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Earlier this week, the two sides had decided to merge.
