Kathmandu, April 21
Nepali Congress President and former prime minister of Nepal, Sher Bahadur Deuba, called on Sushma Swaraj, India’s Minister for External Affairs, in New Delhi on Thursday.
Deuba had left for India with his wife Arzoo Deuba, for the latter’s medical treatment. Deuba and his close aides had said he will not engage in political meetings during his trip.
Tweeting the pictures of the Deuba-Swaraj meeting, Bikas Swarup, Spokesperson for India’s external affairs ministry, has described Deuba’s as an ‘important visitor from Nepal’.
