Kathmandu, January 18
The Asia-Pacific Regional Conference of the Interpol is beginning in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal will inaugurate the conference at Hyatt Hotel.
Police chiefs from 55 countries have already arrived in the city for participating in the conference where Nepal will present three working papers.
Nepal Police IG Upendra Kanta Aryal will present a paper on human trafficking, DIG Nawa Raj Silwal on wildlife poaching and DIG Bam Bahadur Bhandari will present a working paper on terrorism.
In 1989, Nepal had hosted the 10th Interpol regional conference.
