In an alleged abduction case, a boy who was missing from Kapan of Kathmandu since Monday afternoon has been found safe in Bihar of India the next day.
Piyush Sharma (4) was “taken away” by Shankar das, his neighbour, from his house in Kapan. But, a day after that, Indian police found him safe, informs AIG Hari Bahadur Pal, the chief of the Metropolitan Police Office, Ranipokhari.
After Sharma could not come into contact even after hours of search, the family had reported the case to the police on Tuesday morning.
Das has been arrested for further investigation. The motive behind the suspected abduction is not identified yet.
