Kathmandu, April 29
Police in Kathmandu have arrested five persons on a hostage-taking charge.
SP Dinesh Raj Mainali of the Metropolitan Police Range in Kathmandu say the law enforcers arrested Sanjan Oli, Niraj KC, Saujanya Singh, Ashish Koju and Santosh Neupane.
They have been accused of holding Pawan Kumar Yadav, a resident of Siraha, hostage in an SUV.
Preliminary information suggests all the alleged perpetrators, as well as the survivor, are drug addicts.
Further investigation is underway.
