Kathmandu, May 8
The KP Oli government has announced that it will hold local elections in Mangsir, 2073 (in about seven months from now). While presenting the government’s policies and programmes at the Parliament on Sunday, President Bidhya Devi Bhandari made this announcement.
Local bodies have been without elected representatives for long. In the absence of elected representatives, government employees have been running these bodies.
