Nawalpur, July 14
A landslide has blocked the East-West Highway at Daunne in Nawalpur on Tuesday morning.
The District Police Office says the landslide near the Bishwakarma Baba Temple in Binayi Triveni rural municipality-2 blocked the highway. The landslide also uprooted a tree above the road and it fell on a car (Ba 14 Cha 7020) and a truck (Na 6 Kha 1559),
There was, however, not any human casualty, according to DSP Mohan Bahadur Khand of the DPO.
Security personnel have launched efforts to remove the landslide debris and tree from the road and resume traffic movement, it has been learned.
