Lawmakers vaccinated against Covid-19

Kathmandu, March 3

Most of the members of the both houses of the Federal Parliament have received the first dose of the Covishied Covid-19 vaccines on Wednesday.

As the House of Representatives meeting scheduled for Sunday is coming closer, the government had arranged vaccines for the lawmakers. Likewise, the staff of the secretariat, marshals, and journalists covering parliamentary meetings have also been vaccinated in Kathmandu today.

Meanwhile, the government is preparing to expand the vaccination drive to the community level from the next week, beginning with senior citizens above the age of 55, as well as teachers and public bus workers.
