Kathmandu, May 23
Two persons died in different incidents of lightning in Udayapur of Province 1 and Baglung of Gandaki on Sunday.
In Udayapur, the victim has been identified as Bhakta Kumari Budhathoki (45), a resident of Gothdanda, Katari municipality-11. She was hit by the strike at home.
Injured in the incident, she was taken to the Katari Hospital, where she breathed her last.
In another lightning incident, 19-year-old Balchandra BK, a resident of Gandhung, Dhorpatan municipality-7 of the Baglung district died yesterday.
Four persons including BK had got injured in the incident, but BK died during treatment at the Burtibang Primary Health Centre.
Other injured are undergoing treatment at the Mission Hospital, Palpa.
