Kathmandu, July 26
An officer working in the National Investigation Department was found dead in Ishworpur municipality in Sarlahi.
Basant Sah, 29, was found dead under a culvert near Khoria under the Phuljor-Tribhuvannagar road section on Wednesday morning. His motorbike was found next to him.
Superintendent of Police Naresh Raj Subedi informed that it seems that Sah died in a motorcycle accident and a detailed investigation is underway.
According to Subedi, Sah was returning home at night after his duty.
“He called his family at night and told them that he would be home around 10 pm,” said SP Subedi. “But when he did not return as found dead on Wednesday morning.”
