Bhaktapur, June 24
Nepali Congress leader Prakash Sharan Mahat on Friday accused the KP Sharma Oli government of serving cadres of ruling parties in the name of distributing relief to earthquake victims. He said this while speaking at a programme that Rafat Sanchar Club had organised in Bhaktapur.
Mahat also accused the National Reconstruction Authority of doing nothing, and accused the government of serving political cadres of the ruling coalition only. Mahat said the main opposition Nepali Congress will continue to obstruct Parliament meetings unless and until the government rehabilitate earthquake victims.
Mahat said their plan to topple the Oli government had come a cropper after CPN-Maoist Centre Chair Prachanda balked at his earlier pledge to support the Congress.
